2 days Minimum Age: 12 yrs Note:
The majority of the course is practical and afloat but there will be several
hours of theory work required ashore.
The remainder of the theory work will be
carried out through the course while afloat.

- Boat Handling
- Securing to a buoy
- Leaving and Coming Alongside
- Man overboard
- Rules of the road(IRPCS)
- Charts,chart symbols, bouyage systems.
- Passage planning
- Emergency & safety proceduresAfter succesful completion of the course students will be capable of handling powerboats in a safe and controlled manner with confidence and enjoyment.Once the RYA powerboat level 2 completion certificate has been awarded, the ICC International Certificate of Competance can be applied for from the RYA.
